A transient was jailed for a reported trespassing incident in the Winchester area on Wednesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 8:10 p.m. the 45-year-old was called in for trespassing at a residence in the 100 block of Sara Lane after previously being trespassed from the location. The man attempted to hide from a deputy upon his arrival.

He was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and was released Thursday morning.
