Roseburg School District has begun distributing free meals to children and youth throughout summer break via the LunchBox Express and at several school cafeteria sites.

Meals are offered through August 15th and are available to all children ages 1 to 18. All children are welcome and do not need to be students or residents within the school district. Children must be present to participate and will receive one breakfast and one lunch per child, per day.

LunchBox Express schedule:

*Faith Lutheran Church from 10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

*Green Elementary School from 11:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

*Thompson Park from 11:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

*Eastwood Park from 12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

*Safeway on Northeast Stephens Street from 12:40 p.m. to 12:55 p.m.

*Creekside Family Church on Newton Creek Road from 1:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

*Saddle Butte Mobile Manor from 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

School cafeteria sites and schedules:

*At Sunnyslope, Hucrest, Fir Grove, and Winchester elementary schools for breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Meals must be consumed on site.

*At Joseph Lane Middle School and Roseburg High School for breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Grab-n-Go meals do not need to be consumed on site.
