Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 1:50 p.m. the 40-year-old was found in the back of a van which a Community Service Officer was having towed in the 500 block of Northeast Nash Street.

The officer believed the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. It was confirmed and he was taken into custody without incident. The man was detained without bail and was released later in the day.
