MYRTLE CREEK MAN JAILED FOR WARRANT

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed for a warrant on Thursday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 9:45 p.m. units responded to the 200 block of Wilson Street in Canyonville. A caller reported that someone was trespassing on his property. The 43-year-old man was contacted in a creek and was found to have multiple active warrants. The warrants were confirmed, and he was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $8,750.
