Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:40 p.m. the 51year-old was contacted in his tent, in Gaddis Park near the bike jumps, in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. His tent was set up about ten feet from the water’s edge. Camping is always prohibited in this area. The tent was set up during a prohibited time. The man was released after being issued a citation.
