Crews with the Roseburg Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Tuesday evening.

Staff assistant Amy Rice said at 10:15 p.m. firefighters responded to the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street and found both a tree and bushes that were on fire. Rice said the fire was quickly extinguished.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
