Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation and cited him for drugs on Sunday morning.
An RPD report said at 6:15 a.m. officers saw the 50-year-old walking in the 200 block of Southeast Jackson Street and knew there was an investigation that started May 23rd involving his allegedly violating a restraining order that a victim had against him. The man was detained without incident. He admitted to being at the victim’s residence on the prior date.
During the arrest, officers reportedly found a bag containing methamphetamine in the suspect’s pocket. He was transported to corrections. He was cited and released for possessing meth. The man was detained without bail for the restraining order.
