Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant and drug charges on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. officers contacted 44-year-old Michael Schwender walking around Northeast Stephens Street and Northeast Clover Avenue. Schwender was found to have a valid warrant for his arrest out of the Oregon State Parole Board. The warrant was confirmed, and Schwender was taken into custody.

During a search, officers located approximately 8.64 grams of suspected methamphetamine along with working digital scales and packaging. Schwender was detained without bail.
