GLENDALE MAN JAILED FOLLOWING PURSUIT INCIDENT

A Glendale man was jailed following a pursuit incident on Wednesday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:15 p.m. a deputy initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Molly Street and Pacific Avenue for multiple violations. 40-year-old Jason Williams reportedly decided to elude through part of Glendale and up Tunnel Road.

The victim was a passenger in the vehicle and told the deputy that she wanted out of the vehicle during the pursuit. The victim said that is why Williams stopped instead of continuing over the mountain. Williams pulled into his driveway where he was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with attempting to elude a police officer in a vehicle. reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person, a for a parole violation. Williams was detained on $7,000 bail.
