Roseburg Police jailed a man following a foot pursuit on Saturday.

AN RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. officers saw 38-year-old Joshua Breeding leaving the Winchester Post Office in the 5300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. Breeding reportedly took off with a brown package under his arm and ran over the nearby railroad tracks.

Several deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist and found the suspect walking on Interstate 5. Breeding had numerous warrants for his arrest, was held on 25 counts and detained on $300,000 bail.
