Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle wreck on Monday night.

An OSP report said just after 8:30 p.m. a sedan was northbound on Interstate 5 near the Oakland exit. It appeared that the driver was cut off by another vehicle, which caused him to brake quickly. Due to an issue with the rotors of the vehicle, the driver was unable to slow effectively, and his vehicle veered into the center barrier. The driver suffered minor injuries to his face due to airbag deployment. The vehicle was recovered by family members who were traveling with the driver.
