DFPA CREWS DEALING WITH DOE HOLLOW FIRE

Crews with the Douglas Forest Protective Association are dealing with the Doe Hollow Fire in south Douglas County.

DFPA Business Manager Jill Miller said the fire is 40 acres as of mid-morning Friday and is in the Bland Mountain area. Miller said the fire was reported on Thursday evening. Crews worked throughout the night and are continuing efforts Friday. Miller said there are currently 2 hand crews, 4 engines, a dozer and a tender working on the fire.
