A transient was jailed Tuesday for trespassing twice at a property west of Green.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said on Monday a resident in the 3000 block of Happy Valley Road called to say the woman was trespassing on her property. The 46-year-old was given a verbal warning. Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. the suspect was found hiding in the barn at the same property. She admitted to knowing she was not supposed to be there.

The woman was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. She was detained without bail and was released on Wednesday.
