The Homestead Complex is up to 1,892 acres and 5 percent contained as of midday on Wednesday.
An Umpqua National Forest update said there are 481 personnel currently working on the fires.
Temperatures are increasing and expected to stay high the rest of the week. With the increase in temperatures and decrease in humidities, fire behavior may increase in some areas. Isolated pockets of previously dried fuels may ignite more readily along southern and western slopes that receive more sun.
On the south side of the 699-acre No Man Fire, sawyers are working to fell hazardous and dead standing trees along the recently completed portion of fire line. The stretch of line on Chilcoot Mountain has been completed.
Firefighters finished prepping the road around the 176-acre Salmon 33 Fire. They will begin lining the road with hoses, as well as burn out the sides of the road to create more defensible space. Heavy equipment finished constructing dozer-line from Chilcoot Mountain to the border of the Salmon 33 Fire.
A helicopter on loan from the Douglas Forest Protective Association is continuing to assist firefighters and helped extinguish a spot fire Tuesday on the 244-acres Reynolds Butte Fire.
Sawyers are clearing hazard trees along the previously constructed fire line on the 529-acres Horse Heaven Creek Fire. Handline on the 138-acre Bullpup Fire has been completed. Crews continue to build fire line around the 71-acre Fuller Lake Fire.
Firefighters continue to patrol and monitor the 34-acre Lost Bucket Fire, which was declared contained on Tuesday.
