A transient was jailed for an alleged disorderly conduct incident in Myrtle Creek Saturday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said the 41-year- old had been contacted by multiple law enforcement personnel earlier in the day for reportedly pulling his pants down, acting suspicious and causing alarm in the Myrtle Creek area.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m. the man was called in again for allegedly pulling his pants down and exposing himself to people, including several juvenile females in the 200 block of North Main Street. The juveniles who witnessed the incident said the suspect was doing karate moves in the street when he exposed himself.

The suspect denied the accusations but was taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and parole violation. The man was detained without bail.
