Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a restraining order on Monday.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. a victim told an officer that during a child exchange the 51-year old suspect spoke to her, which was a violation of their RO. Dispatch confirmed that the RO was still active and that the woman was a protected person. The man admitted to speaking to the woman during the child exchange.

Dispatch advised that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest as well. He was charged with the violation and for the warrant. The man was detained without bail.
