A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 10:00 p.m. Tuesday through 9:00 a.m. Wednesday for portions of the region.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said snow is expected with 1 to 3 inches possible and local amounts up to 5 inches.

The Advisory area includes central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. It applies to portions of Interstate Five from Ashland to Rogue River and the passes between Grants Pass and Roseburg along with the Hays Hills Summit, Jacksonville Hill, highways 62, 234, 140, 238, 42 near Camas Mountain, and 46 east of Cave Junction. This includes the cities throughout the Rogue Valley.
