An OSP report said at 11:25 a.m. the 29-year-old came into the State Police office on Old Highway 99 North in Winchester after his probation officer had directed him to complete his initial registration for sex offender registration. The man was late to complete his registration and was issued a criminal citation. The probation officer elected to have the man detained. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections.
