The Umpqua Community College Morgan Observatory’s 2026 summer season concludes Friday night at 8:15 p.m.

A college release said the public is invited to come to the observatory for a program about the wonders of the Milky Way Galaxy including nebula, and star clusters with live images from the observatory telescopes. Attendees should park by the technology building and walk up the hill to the observatory. People should bring folding chairs, or blankets to sit under the stars along with a warm jacket and enjoy the live program.
