DETECTIVES ARREST ROSEBURG MAN ON MULTIPLE CHILD SEX ABUSE CHARGES

A Roseburg man has been arrested and jailed on multiple sex abuse charges involving a minor.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said on August 26th, staff with the Oregon Department of Human Services received a report of past sex abuse of a minor. DCSO was notified and launched an investigation.

Undersheriff Brad O’Dell said detectives developed probable cause for the arrest of 30-year-old Derikk Ross Killcy. O’Dell said during an interview with detectives on Thursday, September 3rd, Killcy admitted to sexually abusing a minor child known to him. At the time the crimes were committed, the victim was approximately 4 to 5 years old.

Killcy was charged with:

*12 counts of first-degree rape

*12 counts of first-degree sodomy

*12 counts of first-degree sex abuse

And for first-degree unlawful sexual penetration.

Killcy is detained without bail.
