Roseburg Police jailed a woman following a reported theft incident on Friday morning.

An RPD report said just after 6:30 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year-old in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard as she was walking out of the store with allegedly stolen property. The woman was taken into custody without issue. A detainer was authorized.

She was charged with third-degree theft and two probation violations. Bail was set at $1,250. The woman was released later in the day.
