Thrive Umpqua’s The Longest Table event is back for a third year.

A release said what started in 2024 as a simple idea, to bring neighbors together over a shared meal and meaningful conversation, has grown into a community tradition that many look forward to each year.

The Longest Table will be held on Sunday, September 13th in the 500 and 600 blocks of Southeast Jackson Street in downtown Roseburg. Check in is 5:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:00 p.m.

The evening will include a free, farm-to-table inspired community dinner, along with plenty of time to meet new people, catch up with neighbors and bring ideas to the table.

At the previous two dinners, community members shared more than 200 ideas for making the community an even better place to live. Some of those ideas have since grown into real projects around the Umpqua Valley.
