LIFESTYLE AND NUTRITION COURSE BEGINS AUGUST 25TH

Food as Medicine Oregon has the next round of their Lifestyle and Nutrition Course beginning on Tuesday, August 25th.

It is a 13-week, evidence based, disease prevention and reversal series that uses lifestyle medicine strategies to address the leading causes of illnesses in the U.S. and Douglas County. Utilizing food as medicine, new topics are covered each week, including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity and other chronic illnesses.

Classes will be held in the Aviva Health Conference Room on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A virtual Zoom link will be provided after registering for those who want to access classes online.

The Lifestyle and Nutrition Course is free to attend and the costs associated with it have been supplied due to donations and support from Umpqua Health and other organizations.
