ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOLLOWING DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed a woman following a disturbance on Saturday night.

An RPD report said just after 10:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Northeast Alameda Avenue after a caller said there was a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed the 23-year-old physically fighting with another female. Officers separated the women and learned that the suspect was the aggressor. The other female didn’t want to pursue criminal charges for harassment. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to corrections. She was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500. The woman was released on Sunday.
