Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a restraining order on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 12:35 p.m. officers contacted the suspect in the 700 block of southeast Douglas Avenue. An investigation revealed that the man was in a vehicle with a woman, while there was a valid restraining order prohibiting contact between the two. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $5,000.
