ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DUII INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a DUII incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 1:00 a.m. officers stopped the 26-year-oldl for a traffic violation near the intersection of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Main Street downtown. During the stop, officers saw several signs of impairment. The man admitted to consuming alcohol and agreed to field sobriety tests, which he reportedly performed poorly. The man was taken into custody and transported to corrections.

He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants-alcohol. Bail was set at $10,000. The driver was released later on Wednesday.
