Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a reported harassment incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 11:30 a.m. officers responded to the 100 block of Southeast Hoover Avenue after a caller said there was a disturbance between two neighbors. After an investigation, officers learned the two women had been arguing with each other from their respective sides of a shared fence. The 38-year-old allegedly grabbed a garden hose and sprayed the other woman with it.

The victim’s husband had power tools and equipment in a shed where the victim was standing when the incident occurred. His property reportedly got soaked with water. The first woman was contacted and admitted to the incident. She was charged with harassment and third-degree criminal mischief. Bail was set at $5,000. The woman was released on Monday.
