The Friends of Umpqua Valley Police K9 Programs have their K9s in the Grapevines event on Saturday, August 29th at 5:00 p.m. at Melrose Vineyards on Melqua Road.
Tickets are $70 in advance of $80 after August 21st. They include a light dinner, dessert and a keepsake wine glass, while supplies last. Ticket cost does not include wine or beer. The evening will include silent and live auctions, and K9 demonstrations. It will also celebrate K9 Trapper as he gets ready to retire after 11 years of service.
To reserve seats, call 646-6178 and mail a check with the names of those attending, to UV Police K9s at P.O. Box 213 in Roseburg, 97470. Tickets can also be purchased at www.uvk9.org using a credit card.
