ROSEBURG POLICE CITE MAN FOR DUII

Roseburg Police cited a man for a DUII incident early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said just after 2:30 a.m. the 33-year-old was contacted in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue for traffic violations after he left an establishment in the downtown area. During the stop, officers saw signs of impairment. The man denied drinking alcoholic beverages and agreed to sobriety tests. He reportedly performed poorly and was taken into custody. He was transported to corrections where he was booked for driving under the influence of intoxicants and released. The man was also cited for failure to drive within a lane and violating a speed limit.
