Riverbend Live! wraps up its 30th anniversary season with a youth theater production on Friday and Saturday nights.
Students aged 8 to 17 from the Winston-Dillard area have been working on the production for several weeks. This year’s production is Into the Woods Junior, a youth adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical that brings together beloved fairytale characters including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack of beanstock fame and the mysterious Witch. The production will be on stage at Riverbend Park in Winston, starting at 7:00 p.m. both nights.
Attendees can bring blankets or chairs along with their dinner, or purchase food from a vendor. Given that it’s a youth theater production, people are asked not to bring wine or beer. Pets and smoking are not permitted at Riverbend Live!
