Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged trespass incident on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 9:40 a.m. 34-year-old Kristen Sandidge was contacted for trespassing in a fenced area behind a former business in the 2400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Sandidge has reportedly forced her way into a small fenced area where there were nine “No Trespassing” and “Keep Out” signs clearly posted. The woman was also allegedly in possession of a stolen Walmart shopping cart.

Sandidge’s probation officer authorized a detainer for her arrest. Once told that she was under arrest, the suspect reportedly resisted. While wrestling with Sandidge, one of her dogs allegedly bit an officer’s arm. The woman was taken to the ground where she continued to resist until other officers and deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrived.

Sandidge’s two adult dogs and eight puppies were transported to Saving Grace Humane Society. She was charged with second-degree counts of criminal trespass and theft, resisting arrest, and parole violation. Sandidge was cited for two counts of having an aggressive dog. Bail was set at $13,750.
