Roseburg Police jailed a woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants-alcohol and recklessly endangering another person on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said shortly after 3:00 p.m. the 34-year-old was contacted after she crashed her pickup with her child in the front seat, in the parking lot next to the Fir Grove soccer fields, in the 500 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. The woman was allegedly heavily intoxicated and refused to perform standard field sobriety tests. She was taken into custody and transported to corrections where she reportedly provided a breath sample over the legal limit.

The woman was medically cleared at CHI Mercy Medical Center and was lodged in the jail. Her husband arrived later to take custody of the child and the vehicle. The driver was detained on $16,250.
