Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said at 10:15 p.m. the 39-year-old was contacted in the 2000 block of Northeast Stephens Street and was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He also returned as a corrections offender. The man was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine.

He was detained for the warrant and a parole violation. The man was cited for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. He was released on Thursday.
