Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 12:00 p.m. officers contacted the 41-year-old in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard knowing he was wanted by his parole officer for failing to report. A detainer was authorized and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail.
