Roseburg City Council will have special meetings on Friday.

A city release said the council will meet in Executive Session at 9:30 a.m. The council will move into an open meeting at 9:45 a.m.

The topic of both meetings is a review of the semifinalists for the open city manager position. In the open meeting the council will vote on whether to proceed with the interview process for the proposed candidates or to continue a candidate search through GMP Consultants.

The council will meet in the council chambers on Southeast Douglas Avenue. The open meeting can be seen on the city’s Facebook page or viewed later at www.roseburgor.gov.
