Roseburg Police jailed a man for failure to report as a sex offender on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 4:10 p.m. officers contacted the 62-year-old in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and learned he was a registered sex offender with his last reported address in Jackson County. The man admitted he moved to Roseburg a couple months ago and had not reported his current address within the required ten days of the address change. The man was taken into custody. He was detained without bail and was released on Monday.
