Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash that occurred in front of the hospital on Sunday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said at 10:40 a.m. officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Mercy Drive. After an investigation, officers determined that the sedan proceeded directly through a red light, resulting in the collision with an SUV. The second vehicle overturned at the intersection. Both drivers were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver who caused the crash was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
