TROOPERS JAIL MAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED/POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE

Troopers with the Oregon State Police jailed a man following a traffic stop on Saturday night.

An OSP report said just before 7:30 p.m. a vehicle was stopped for expired tags in the 400 block of Creekside Road in the Myrtle Creek area. The driver, a 44-year-old Grants Pass man, was found to be suspended at the misdemeanor level. He consented to a search of the vehicle, which allegedly yielded methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The man was taken into custody and charged with driving while suspended-misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. The man was detained without bail.
