Roseburg Police jailed a man for improper use of 911 early Thursday morning.

An RPD report said the 62-year-old had called 911 several times over the span of three hours for non-emergent issues. He was warned by dispatch and by officers of misuse but reportedly continued to call. At 3:00 a.m. he was contacted at his residence and was taken into custody without incident. Bail was set at $1,000.
