In the spirit of the celebration, two Brooke Communications radio stations are shifting to music designed to accompany the events of Graffiti Weekend, for part of several days this week.

104-5 SAM FM and 1240 KQEN are dedicating time to play the classics from the past each day. SAM-FM is all Graffiti music on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 1240 KQEN does a simulcast with SAM-FM Thursday and Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. and continues with 12 hours of classic music, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. That is done to provide music for drivers in the many classic vehicles that have an AM radio only. KQEN’s 93-9 FM frequency continues with the station’s news/talk format.
