ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR DRIVING WHILE SUPSENDED-MISDEMEANOR

Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 12:10 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle with an expired registration according to Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles, near the intersection of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and Northeast Walnut Street. However, the registration sticker on the car’s license plate displayed a 2028 tag.

The officer contacted the 38-year-old driver who admitted to being suspended at the misdemeanor level. Dispatch confirmed the information and the man was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail and was released on Thursday morning.
