In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The 39th season of Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park begins Thursday night.

Presented by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce, concerts are presented weekly through August 27th, with the exception of July 23rd. They are held at Millsite Park on Main Street.

TOB – That Other Band – opens the series performing a blend of R&B, funk, soul and more.

Concerts run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees can bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors are available on site and nearby. Dogs are allowed if kept under control and cleaned up after.
