STATE POLICE RESPOND TO SINGLE VEHICLE MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT

Troopers with Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle motorcycle accident on Monday morning.

An OSP report said at about 10:50 a.m. troopers were dispatched to the crash on Interstate 5 northbound near the Rice Hill summit at milepost 142. For unknown reasons, the rider of the motorcycle left the roadway and the bike crashed into the median. The rider, a 51-year-old man from Washington, arranged for his own tow to recover the motorcycle. There was no damage to state property as a result of the crash.
