Sutherlin Police jailed a man following a disturbance on Saturday night.

An SPD report said at approximately 6:00 p.m. an officer responded to a disturbance. After investigating the incident, the officer attempted to place 41-year-old Dylan Thatcher under arrest, but the man fled on foot. The officer chased Thatcher and subdued him inside the residence. The man was taken to the Douglas County Jail on charges of menacing, harassment, third-degree escape and resisting arrest. Thatcher was detained without bail.
