With the nation’s 250th birthday falling on Saturday, Friday is the observed holiday and that means there are a number of closures.

Federal, state, county and city offices will be closed. Banks and credit unions will not be open. Professional offices will be shuttered. Most retail stores will be open, but some will be operating for reduced hours.
