Roseburg Police cited a man for littering near waters, and a violation charge of prohibited camping on Wednesday evening.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. the 42-year-old was found to be camping outside of the time, place, manner restrictions in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. The man had a large amount of trash and miscellaneous belongings strewn all over the ground. That area of Deer Creek Park had just been cleaned earlier in the day. The man was released after the citation was issued.
