Two people were taken to the hospital after a freeway crash on Tuesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 1:45 p.m. troopers responded to the wreck on Interstate 5 northbound in the Cottage Grove area. The driver of an SUV, a 62-year-old Florida man, lost control of his vehicle and the SUV rolled over in the median multiple times. No citations were issued. The SUV was towed from the scene.

The accident impacted freeway traffic for a time, while the scene was cleaned up.
