A Roseburg woman was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following an incident on Saturday afternoon.

A DCSO report said just before 4:00 p.m. 21-year-old Asiah Caldwell called 911 to try and get a ride to Roseburg. She was informed of misuse of 911 and said she was under the influence. While arresting another man near the intersection of Gravel Pit Lane and Riddle Bypass Road in the Riddle area, Caldwell asked the deputy if she would be arrested for assault if she threw her drink on him. After being advised not to, Caldwell allegedly smacked the patrol vehicle a few times and threw her drink on the deputy and the patrol vehicle.

She was charged with interfering with a peace officer, obstructing governmental administration, third-degree criminal mischief, harassment and offensive littering. Caldwell was detained without bail.
