The Winston Area Independence Day presents the Stars, Stripes and Small-Town nights event next Saturday, July 4th.

Events at Riverbend Park include:

*A parade on Main Street beginning at 11:00 a.m.

*Open class car show

*Bingo sponsored by the Winston Senior Center

*Contests and a kid’s pageant

There will be vendors, Thundering Water’s WOW Truck, and more as well.

Live music includes the Rowshambow Band at 12:00 p.m. and Soul Shock in the evening. A fireworks show will be presented at dusk.
