In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Umpqua Valley Arts presents the 57th annual Summer Arts Festival happening on Friday through Sunday.
Held at the Arts Center in Fir Grove Park on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg, the three-day event features art, music, food and community.
Over 100 local and regional artists will have handmade works of art. Interactive art experiences will be offered. An Emerging Artist Vendor tent will feature local young artists selling their works. There will be a Youth Zone with hands-on activities for kids and families.
Live music will be featured on the Main Stage while the Community Stage will have music, dancers, and actors.
Hours are Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person with those ages 8 and under admitted for free. Advance tickets are available through the Umpqua Valley Arts website.
